Services for Ray Charles Alsworth of Union Church are 3 p.m.Saturday, Oct. 23, at Hickory Block United Methodist Church inUnion Church with burial in Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery in UnionChurch.

Visitation is 1-6 p.m. Friday at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

Mr. Alsworth, 46, died Oct. 19, 2004, at Central MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Union Church on Aug. 10,1958, to David Alsworth Sr. and Hattie R. Alsworth.

He was a graduate of Loyd Star High School and a former employeeof Delphi Packard Electric in Brookhaven. He was a member of Mt.Moriah M.B. Church in Union Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Loretta Alsworth of Kentwood, La.; hisson, Timothy Ray Alsworth of Wohnpark, Germany; his sisters, EmmaOliver of Union Church, Shirley Smith of Jackson, and DelorisBallard of Ridgeland; his brothers, Bobby Alsworth of Fayette,David Alsworth Jr. of Union Church, and the Rev. Eddie Alsworth ofBrookhaven; and a host of nieces and nephews.
