Services for Larry Hamilton Young Jr. of Panama City, Fla.,formerly of Monticello, are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, at WilsonFuneral Home Chapel in Monticello with burial in Pleasant GroveUnited Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Young, 78, died Oct. 27, 2004, at Bay Center Nursing Home inFlorida. He was born in Monticello on December 2, 1925.

He was chief engineer for many years at television stations inFlorida. He was also a computer programmer before retiring.

Survivors are his wife of 34 years, Mary Young; his daughtersand son-in-law, Laura Fant, and Paula and Toddy Bishop of Fairhope,Ala.; his sons and daughters-in-law, Steven Patrick and CherylYoung of Callaway, Fla., Larry Young III and Vicky, and Rodney andTonya Young; a sister, Shirley Monk; his brothers, Charles Youngand Diamond Young; and 11 grandchildren.
