Services for Donis Louise Ratcliff of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.Thursday, Nov. 18 at Brookhaven Branch of the Church of JesusChrist of Latter Day Saints with burial in the Red Star WardCemetery of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home andThursday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Ratcliff, 81, died Nov. 15, 2004, at Countrybook LivingCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 26, 1922, to JeffersonWiley Moak and Rosa Belle McFadden Moak.

She was a homemaker and former dietitian at West Lincoln School.She was a longtime member of the Brookhaven Branch of the Church ofJesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she was a member of theRelief Society. Over the years, she shared her love and nurturingspirit in her work as a dietitian and also as a foster mother andfriend to over 34 foster children. A loving wife, mother andgrandmother, Mrs. Ratcliff will be truly missed by her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her daughters, Betty Thompson and Robin DiffrientThompson, both of Brookhaven; her sons, John (Jimmy) Ratcliff ofRaleigh, N.C., Gregory Ratcliff of Brookhaven and Russell Rushingof Pennsylvania; 13 grandchildren; and fivegreat-grandchildren.

Her family wishes to thank the staff at Countrybook LivingCenter and Horizon Hospice for their loving care of Mrs.Ratcliff.
