Graveside services for Willie C. Douglas of Shreveport are 3:30p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20 at Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 2-3 p.m. at Harrigill FuneralHome.

Mr. Douglas, 93, died Nov. 18, 2004, at Willis Knighton MedicalCenter in Bossier City, La. He was born in Picayune on Sept. 30,1911, to C.C. Douglas and Alma Wright Douglas.

He was a retired from the Shreveport Garment Factory where heworked as cutting room superintendent. He was a graduate of CopiahLincoln Community College, a veteran of the Army and he served inWorld War II. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, where heserved as a retired deacon.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, C.C.Douglas.

Survivors are his wife, Dixie Lanelle Burns Douglas ofShreveport; his daughter, Peggy Lane Douglas Powell of BossierCity, La.; his son, Carey Regie Douglas, of San Antonio, Texas; hissister, Christine Douglas Hubbs of Baton Rouge, La.; fourgrandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
