Services for Douglas “Tiny” Hammond of Monticello are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 23 at Divide Methodist Protestant Church inMonticello with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Hammond, 67, died Nov. 20, 2004, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center of respiratory failure. He was born March 21, 1937,to Howard E. Hammond and Floyd Pevey Hammond.

He was a self-employed carpenter/contractor. He was a member ofMonticello Masonic Lodge, Shriner Wahabi Temple of Jackson andScottish Rite. Mr. Hammond was a member of the Navy for 10 yearsand served in Korea. He was a member of Divide Methodist ProtestantChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Jeanette Hammond; his daughters, SandraKaye (Sandy) Love of Edwards, Melissa (Missy) Coon of Monticello,and Elizabeth (Beth) Martin of Silver Creek; his sisters, CharleneSanders of New Orleans, La., and Ann Bennette Milbry of Alabama;his brother, Dudley Hammond of Jayess; and four grandchildren.
