Services for Billy Joe Case of Smithdale are 11 a.m. Friday,Dec. 3 at Ramah Baptist Church with burial in in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mr. Case, 69, died Nov. 30, 2004, at Mississippi Baptist MedicalCenter in Jackson. He was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 26, 1935,to James Vercie Case and Mattie Lee Lofton Case.

He was retired from I.C. Railroad and was a member and long-timeSunday school teacher at Ramah Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Mattie Lee Case.

Survivors are his father; his wife, Frances Faye Case ofSmithdale; his daughters, Billie Ann Ashley and her husband, Toby,of Smithdale; his son, Joel Gainey Case of Smithdale; his sister,LaWanda Dixon and her husband, Pete, of Brookhaven; one grandchild,Garrett Ashley; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
