Services for Jerry Louis Lyons of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m.Saturday, Dec. 4 at New Zion Union M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. with family hourfrom 6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.
Mr. Lyons, 45, died Nov. 26, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 30, 1958, to AlvinLyons Sr. and Grace Bailey Lyons.
He was disabled and a member of New Zion Union M.B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his father; his grandparents, Jimand Ester Lyons and Tom and Georgia Bailey; and a nephew, AlvinLyons III.
Survivors are his mother; his wife, Maxine Lyons of Brookhaven;his son, Demetrious Nelson of Brookhaven; his stepson, AnthonyAllen and his wife, Tomora, of Brookhaven; his sisters, Georgia AnnBracey and her husband, Harry, of Bogue Chitto, Grace Carter andher husband, L.E., of McComb, Linda Faye Cook and her husband,Eddie, of Bogue Chitto, and Doris Lyons of Bogue Chitto; herbrothers, Alvin Lyons Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Glenwood, Ill.,Charles Lyons of Bogue Chitto, Jimmie Lyons Sr. and his wife,Prima, of Bogue Chitto, Calvin Lyons and his wife, Tammy, of BogueChitto, Tommie Lee Lyons of Bogue Chitto, and Bruce Lyons of BogueChitto; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.
