Services for Michael Temple of McComb are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec.3 at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel in McComb with burial in HollywoodCemetery. Dr. Rick Kennedy will officiate.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9-11 a.m. atthe funeral home.

Mr. Temple, 54, died following a sudden illness, Dec. 2, 2004,at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born inBiloxi on Jan. 22, 1950, to Luther and Mavis Temple.

He was a supervisor at the McComb mill. He served in the MarineCorps and in Vietnam. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his grandparents,Reuben and Dora Matthews, and Matt and Mattie Temple.

Survivors are his wife, Sylvia Temple of McComb; his daughterMichelle Walker, and her husband, Nathan, of Summit; his son DwayneTemple of McComb; his sister Jean Gunther, and her husband, Billy,of Summit, and Dora Carr and her husband, Dwight, of McComb; herbrothers, Danny Temple and his wife, Jennifer, of Summit, and GarryTemple and his wife, Sherry, of Tecumseh, Mich.; his twograndchildren, Elizabeth Walker and Rory Walker;

Pallbearers will be Gary Walker, Corey Temple, Rainey Carr,Wayne Matthews, Kyle Brooks, Kenny Ray Fortenberry. Honorarypallbearers will be his co-workers from the McComb mill.
