Vandalism estimate tops $3,000

Damages at Enterprise Attendance Center from a vandalismSaturday have surpassed $3,000, said Lincoln County School DistrictSuperintendent Terry Brister.
Vandals used a baseball bat to shatter the glass in the back andfront doors of two buildings and the windows in the concessionstand and all buses. Most of the buses had several windows brokenand one bus had all its windows shattered, Brister said.
The vandalism was discovered Saturday and school officials spentmost of the day trying to get the damage repaired, he said. Repairswere made by nightfall.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department is investigating thevandalism, Brister said, and he expects charges will be filed.
