Services for Marshall S. Smith of McCall Creek are 10 a.m.,Monday, Dec. 13, at McCall Creek Church of God with burial in thechurch cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home andMonday from 9-10 at the church.

Mr. Smith, 93, died Dec. 11, 2004, at Silver Cross Nursing Home.He was born in Franklin County on March 10, 1911, to Sam Smith andJoanna Jenkins Smith.

He was a retired worker in road construction and ship building.He was a member of McCall Creek Church of God.

Survivors are his sons, Kenneth Smith of McCall Creek and PaulDouglas Smith of Hattiesburg; his sisters, Bonnie Brooks of Jacksonand Nova Burris of Baton Rouge, La.; her brothers, Roger Smith andRayford Smith, both of Natchez; eight grandchildren; 20great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Idell Smith;and a daughter, Jonell Case.
