Services for Ray G. Wilson of Summit are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14at Tangipahoa Baptist Church in Amite County with burial in thechurch cemetery. The Rev. W.R. “Chubby” Lowery and the Rev. TroyMercer will officiate.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Hartman Funeral Home inMcComb, and Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Wilson, 68, died Dec. 6, 2004, at his residence. He was bornin Amite County on Jan. 14, 1936, to Thomas Ray Wilson and RubyDell Bales Wilson.
He was retired from AT&T. He served in the Army and was amember of Tangipahoa Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and hisgrandparents.
Survivors are his sisters, Susan Berryhill of Magnolia, MaryHellon Byrd of Smithdale, and Martha Jordan and her husband, Moody,of Pelahatchie; and his brother, David Wilson and his wife,Eleanor, of Summit.
Pallbearers will be Clark Wilson, Kenny Wilson, Billy Berryhill,Joe Byrd, Carl Jordan, Jack Jordan, Wayne Jordan and FloydWingo.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Village inJackson.
