Services for Nelson Case of Brookhaven are 1 p.m. Wednesday,Dec. 15 at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Lincoln County withburial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-11 a.m.at Harrigill Funeral Home.
Mr. Case, 80, died Dec. 12, 2004, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on March 11, 1924, to Bernice Case and ViolaCalcote Case.
He served as a Lincoln County Supervisor for three terms and wasself-employed as an entrepreneur and businessman in Brookhaven andNatchez. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member ofPhiladelphia Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Carl Case;one sister, Winnie Ruth Lenoux; and one nephew, Wayne Boyd.
Survivors are his wife, Melanie Wilson Case; his two daughters,Lola Smith and her husband, Paul, of Natchez, and Janet Lynn Murrayand her husband, Mike, of Brookhaven; his three sons, Jerry NelsonCase and his wife, Ramona, of Brookhaven, Donald Case and his wife,Pam, of Brookhaven, and Woody Case and his wife, Barbara, ofNatchez; his three sisters, Doris Robinson and her husband, L.T.,of Zachary, La., Eddis Harville and her husband, Mearle, of Baker,La., and Delma Brooks and her husband, Gene, of Clinton; hisbrother, James Case and his wife, Mable, of Zachary; his tengrandchildren, Johnny Fielder, Cam Fielder, Shaun Case, MistyFielder Smith, Woodrow Case Jr., Autumn Nelson, Rhett Case, DonovonCase, Casey Gould and Drew Case; seven great-grandchildren; twocousins, Juanita Walker of Clinton and Billy Buck Smith ofBrookhaven; and numerous nieces and nephews.
