Hughlene Jones Gray

Services for Hughlene Jones Gray of Meadville are 2:30 p.m.today, Jan. 18 at Praise Cathedral with burial in O’Zion BaptistChurch Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is today from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Gray, 63, died Jan. 17, 2005, at Franklin County MemorialHospital. She was born in Franklin County on Jan. 2, 1942, to HughJones and Daisy Gammill Jones.

She was a medical records transcriptionist and retired fromFranklin County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Clay HillChurch of God.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and one brother.

Survivors are her husband, Ernest Gray of Meadville; her sons,Ernest Allen Gray III, of Meadville, and Jonathan Gray of Florence;her sister, Sarah Love of Brookhaven; her brother, Clark Jones ofMeadville; and two grandchildren.

Marion ‘Buster’ Sutton

Services for Marion “Buster” Sutton of Hazlehurst are 2 p.m.Wednesday, Jan. 19 at Rehobeth Methodist Church in Barlow withburial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 2 p.m. at thechurch.

Mr. Sutton, 72, died Jan. 17, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn in Louisiana on Oct. 8, 1932, to J.W. Sutton and Ruby MartinSutton.

He was retired from Texaco.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother.

Survivors are his wife, Maggie Sutton of Hazlehurst; hisdaughter, Catherine Sutton of Cordova, Tenn.; his sisters, NelwynLentz of Shreveport, La., and Johnette “Pete” Tinsley, of Accadia,La.; and several nieces and nephews.
