It’s Love Your Pet Day again at Harvey Electronics Radio Shackon Brookway Boulevard.

Next Saturday, Feb. 12, the store will accept pet food andmonetary donations in exchange for coupons from local restaurantsand fast-food establishments.

This is the second year Harvey Electronics has participated inthe project.

“This is our way of giving back to the community,” said SusanHarvey, who along with her husband, Keith, owns the store.

Last year, Harvey Electronics collected approximately 55 bags ofpet food that was donated to the Brookhaven Animal RescueLeague.

“We’re also donating 10 percent of our gross sales for the day,”said Harvey, who said that makes Feb. 12 the day to buy if you’rein the market for electronics.

Harvey said the business will be taking Valentine’s Day Photosof pets.

“The photos will be digital, so they can take them home the sameday,” she said.

Also on the schedule is XMOD Racing, weather permitting, saidHarvey. “We’ll also have refreshments.”

Harvey Electronics is located at 509 Brookway Blvd. and will beopen from 9-5.
