Services for Billy Ray Rushing of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Sunday,Feb. 27, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. ZionChurch of Christ Cemetery.

Mr. Rushing, 62, died Feb. 25, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on April 10, 1942, to MeltonH. Rushing Sr. and Lucille Posey Rushing.

He was a retired oil field worker and a former member of theNational Guard. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Paulette Wilson Rushing of Brookhaven;his sister, JoAnn Netterville of McComb; and his brother, Melton H.Rushing Jr. of Brookhaven.
