Services for Etta Mae Martin Comeaux, of Monticello, were 11a.m. today, March 3 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inNew Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Comeaux, 83, died March 1, 2005, at Lawrence County NursingCenter in Monticello. She was born in Marion County on Sept. 10,1921, to Samuel Z. Martin and Docia Russell Martin.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of South Gate BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HensleyComeaux; and one sister.

Survivors are her daughters, Gladys Nance, of Bismark, Mo., andMerry Nelms, of Indialantic, Fla.; her sons, Joe Comeaux, ofJacksonville, N.C., and William “Bill” Jefferson Comeaux, ofJacksonville, Fla.; her sister, Rosia Lea Martin Brown, ofMonticello; and her brother, Norman J. Martin, of Monticello; sixgrandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
