Private family services for Grady Weeks Jr., of Tylertown, areplanned. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Weeks, 73, died April 18, 2005, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Albertville,Ala., on Jan. 2, 1932, to Samuel Grady Weeks and Frances DanielsWeeks. He was reared by his grandmother Mollie Henderson Weeks.
He was a retired oilfield worker for National Lead Industries.He served in the Army and Korean War and was a member of theAmerican Legion. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Lois Weeks, of Tylertown; his daughter,Cheryl Lewis and her husband, Stephen, of Harrison, Ark.; his sons,Terrill Weeks and his wife, Lynda, of Covington, La., and CliftonIssac Weeks, of Leesville, La.; his grandchildren, Samuel Shreves,Cody Shreves, Thunder Gannon, Elizabeth Ashley Weeks and MonolosWeeks.
