Co-Lin plans fastpitch camp

WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College will hold anAll-Skills Fastpitch Softball Camp for players ages 10-17 May30-June 2, from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Campers will cover all aspects of the game of softball includingfundamentals, mechanics, skills and drills for offense and defense.Participants should bring their cleats, glove, bat (optional).Catchers should bring their catching gear.
Registration will be held from 7:45-8:30 a.m., at Lady WolvesSoftball Field May 30. Pre-registration is preferred for schedulingpurposes, but not required. Cost for the camp is $75 and includes acamp T-shirt, limited insurance and drinks.
Camp director is Lady Wolves Head Softball Coach Allen Kent whois in his fourth year at the helm. Kent has led Co-Lin to theState/Regional tournament for three straight years.
The Lady Wolves have been ranked in the Top 10 in the NJCAApolls the past three seasons. Kent is a former Co-Lin baseballplayer and has been involved in baseball/softball for 30 years.
Co-camp director will be Co-Lin assistant softball coach JohnnyWilliams. Williams has been a long time assistant for Co-Linsoftball and served as head coach for the 2001-2002 season. Othercamp instructors will include area high school coaches along withcurrent and former Co-Lin players.
