Services for Idelia Bardwell King, of Brookhaven, are 3 p.m.,Sunday, July 24, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello withburial in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello.

Mrs. King, 85, died July 22, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn in Ruth on April 5, 1920, to Benjamin Bardwell and EvalineBrown.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Monticello UnitedPentecostal Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, DeweyHomer “Nub” King; a daughter, Mary Kathrine Hall; six brothers; andfour sisters.

Survivors are her son, Homer King, of Brookhaven; her daughters,Joann Hawkins, of Brookhaven, Donis K. Foster, of Oakvale, andYvonne Coon, of Monticello; 10 grandchildren; 21great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
