James Augustus ‘Jimmy’ Bolian Jr.

Graveside services for James Augustus “Jimmy” Bolian Jr., ofFolsom, La., are 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 at Bogue ChittoCemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at BrookhavenFuneral Home.

Mr. Bolian, 74, died Aug. 30, 2005, at St. Tammany Hospital inCovington, La. He was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 16, 1930, toJames Augustus Bolian Sr. and Nellie Meyers Bolian.

He was self employed in sales and was owner of Shore Line PipeCo. He was a veteran of the Navy.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Lucy Jeane Brock Bolian, of Brookhaven;his son, James A. “Jim” Bolian III and his wife, Tammy, of PearlRiver, La.; his daughter, Beverly Papania and her husband, Wayne,of Mandeville, La.; his grandchildren, Amy Willing and her husband,Chris, of Olive Branch, Patty Hammond and her husband, Andy, ofFlowood, Justin Bolian and Brock Bolian, both of Pearl River; hisgreat-grandchild, Christopher Chase Willing, of Olive Branch.

Bonnie Holmes

Services for Bonnie Holmes, of Bildora Extended Care inTylertown, were Sunday, Sept. 4 at Harrigill Funeral Home inBrookhaven with burial in Fortenberry Cemetery in Tylertown.Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown was in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Holmes, 92, died Sept. 2, 2005, in Jackson. She was born inTylertown on Aug. 11, 1913, to Cicero and Narcissus Reeves.

She was a retired garment plant worker and a member of SouthwayBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HiltonHolmes Sr.; four sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors are her sons, Jerry Holmes, and his wife, Bonnie, ofBrookhaven, and Hilton Holmes Jr. and his wife, Jerene, of Petal;her daughters, Betty Davis and her husband, Johnny, of Brookhaven,Judy Davis and her husband, Jay, of Tylertown, and Wanda Smithieand her husband, Jimmy, of Ocean Springs; her sister, DorothySurratt, of Jackson, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; 20great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many niecesand nephews.
