The host Brookhaven Lady Panthers swept a slowpitch softballDivision 6-4A doubleheader from the McComb Lady Tigers Tuesdaynight at Mamie Martin Field.

Brookhaven won the opener 11-1 and the finale.

Brookhaven travels to Port Gibson Thursday.

Brittany Smith (7-2, 2-0) was the winning pitcher in both games.Tiffany Shacklefoot absorbed the losses.

In the first game, Ashley Sykes smashed a home run and a single.Brittany Smith tripled. Collecting a pair of singles were JanaWallace and Katie Smith. Singling were Hannah Lowman, Terri Hodges,Christi Martin, Julie Brister and Katie Stewart.
