Mary Elizabeth Jones

Services for Mary Elizabeth Jones of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.Wednesday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Poplar SpringsCemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jones, 88, died Sept. 20, 2005, at Haven Hall LivingCenter.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven. She madeHazlehurst her home for a number of years before moving toBrookhaven 30 years ago.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Cullen Jackson Jones;father, John W. Vinson; mother, Maude Wells Vinson Wright;stepfather, Johnny Morton Wright; brothers, Howard, Robert, Charlesand T.J. Vinson; and a sister, Nell Vinson.

Survivors are her son, John P. Jones and wife Betty ofHazlehurst; her daughter, Alice Brown and husband Mack ofBrookhaven; her grandchildren, Darlene Hurst, Jack Jones, BillBrown and Chris Brown; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Addie Marie Mullins

Services for Addie Marie Mullins of Monticello are 2 p.m.Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in BethshanCemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. untilservice time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mullins, 78, died Sept. 24, 2005, at Forrest GeneralHospital in Hattiesburg of complications from a stroke. She wasborn on Dec. 14, 1926, to the late Bernard Ellis Doughty and AddieArline Tradewell Doughty.

She was a retired school teacher. She was a member of MonticelloChurch of Christ. She attended more than four years of college.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James PatrickMullins; and a sister.

Survivors are her daughter, Dr. Maureen P. Taylor of Sumrall andher brothers Dr. Bernard E. Doughty of Jena, La., and Howard E.Doughty of Minden, La.
