Services for Katherine Ellington Delaney of Fayette, Miss., were10 a.m. today at Sarepta Baptist Church in Franklin County withburial in the church cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Mrs. Delaney, 77, died Sept. 26, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn in Franklin County on Feb. 10, 1928, to the late AugustusEllington and Janie Kennison Ellington.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sarepta BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, J.C. Delaney;a son; and a brother.

Survivors are her sons, John Delaney and wife Margaret ofLongview, Texas, and Wayne Delaney and wife Judy of Loyd Star; herdaughters, Shirley Wilson and husband Tommy of Meadville and LouiseArmstrong and husband Webb of Bude; her daughter-in-law, PatsyDelaney of Meadville; her brother, Charles Loper of Bude; hersisters, Claudia Garrison of McCall Creek and Pearl Watson ofZachary, La.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
