Services for Lexie Watts Posey, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Friday, Nov. 4 at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Mt. ZionChurch of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Posey, 96, died Nov. 1, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn on Jan. 13, 1909, to Eddie Watts and Lucinda Watts.

She was a seamstress and homemaker. She was a member of theChurch of Christ on Highway 84 West.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, WalterPosey.

Survivors are her son, Walter Posey Jr. and his wife, Carolyn,of Vancleave; her daughter, Lillie Mae Smith, of Brookhaven; fivegrandchildren, Bruce Posey, Walter Posey III, Deborah Posey, LarkinSmith and Mike Smith; a host of great-grandchildren and onegreat-grandchild.
