Services for Curtis Bracey Ratliff, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Friday, Nov. 4 at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Heuck’sRetreat Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ratliff, 83, died Nov. 1, 2005, at St. Dominic/JacksonMemorial Hospital. She was born in Darbun on Sept. 1, 1922, toCorbin Bracey and Effie Magee Bracey.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Heuck’s Retreat BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, L.P.Ratliff Jr.; her son, L.P. “Piker” Ratliff III; and her fourbrothers, Harlan, J.C., Bob and Hershel Bracey.

Survivors are her sons, Larry Ratliff and his wife, Gloria, andRandy Ratliff, all of Brookhaven; her sister, Laura Hopson, ofDallas; her three grandchildren, Kelly Ratliff and his wife,Colette, of Brookhaven, Brian Ratliff and his wife, Kim, ofBrandon, and Leanne Ratliff Haley and her husband, Chris, ofMadison; and six great-grandsons.
