Services for James W. “J.W.” Smith, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in the Heuck’s Retreat Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Smith, 54, died Nov. 21, 2005, from injuries sustained in anaccident on Interstate 55. He was born on Oct. 13, 1951, to J.W.”Pat” Smith and Mary E. McDavitt Smith.

He was an electrician for Delphi Packard.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Deanie Smith, of Brookhaven; his sons,Wade Smith and his wife, Misty, of Brookhaven; his daughter, T.C.Bowlin and her husband, Jeff, of Smithdale; his brother, PatCarpenter, of Oxford; and his grandchildren, Danielle, Tyler andChristian Thomas.
