Services for John Caves, of Monticello, are 2 p.m. Wednesday,Nov. 23 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello with burial inTilton United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Caves, 74, died Nov. 20, 2005, at his residence. He was bornon Dec. 18, 1930. His parents were John Caves and Olivia ArnoldCaves. His foster mother was Leslie Lee Price, of Jayess.

He was a retired millwright with Weyerhaeuser Paper Co.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a son, PaulCaves.

Survivors are his wife, Ann Hodges Caves, of Monticello; hissons, Dempsey Hodges, of Bogue Chitto, Paul Hodges and his wife,Sharon, of Brookhaven, and Buddy Givens, of Texas; his daughters,Linda Doerner and her husband, Billy, of Picayune, and JeaneFoerste, of Monticello; his brothers, Mike McKinnis and CannonMcKinnis, both of Eugene, Ore., and Randolph Alexander and JessieAlexander, both of Jayess; his sisters, Willie Thornhill andJosephine Thornhill, both of Jayess; and eight grandchildren.
