Services for Alice Webster Ward, of Bude, were noon Sunday, Jan.8 at Thirkield United Methodist Church with burial in MeadvilleCemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ward, 92, died Jan. 1, 2006, at her residence. She was bornin Franklin County on May 31, 1913, to Pinkney Webster and PatienceKing.

Preceding her in death were her parents, five brothers, and fivesisters.

Survivors are her son, Ivory Lee and his wife, Geraldine Lee;her brother, H. M. Webster; her sister, Ida Mae McClain; hergrandsons, Gerry Lee and his wife, Dianne, Glenn Lee and DonaldLee; her granddaughter, Patricia Burkes; six great-grandchildren;and a host of relatives and friends.
