Services for Marvin Ellis Hensley, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Monday, Jan. 9 at Jones Family Funeral Services.

Mr. Hensley, 70, died Jan. 7, 2006, at his residence. He wasborn in Monett, Ark. on Oct. 1, 1935, to William Thomas and EssieLorene Hensley.

He was a carpenter and a boat captain for 28 years. He was amember of the Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, FrancesEvelyn Hensley; his brother, Larry T. Hensley; his sister, MarilynGoldbaum; his daughter, Sherry Hensley; and his nephew, CareyGoldbaum.

Survivors are his sons, Terry Hensley, of Fall Brook, Calif.,and Thomas Hensley, of Magnolia; his daughters, Rhonda Baker, ofFerris, Calif., Lorene Rushing, of Brookhaven, and Marilyn Gill andher husband, Terry, of Brookhaven; his brother, Hazel Hensley, ofSontag; his sister, Ann Free and her husband, Lew, of Eagle Rock,Mont.; his 18 grandchildren; and his nine great-grandchildren.
