Frances Smith Case
Services for Frances Smith Case, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Jan. 21 at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Case, 92, died Jan. 19, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Aug. 23, 1913, to Zack Smith and LizzieScarborough Smith.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Southway BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Rufus M.”Don” Case; two grandchildren, Chris Benson and Terri Lynn Benson;a great-granddaughter; three brothers, Brady, Fosby and EugeneSmith; and three sisters, Wilma Cain, Bessie Smith and HelenSmith.
Survivors are her daughters, Alice Warren and Dorothy Benson,both of Brookhaven, Yvonne Ogle, of Columbia, Tenn., and PatJacobson, of Baton Rouge, La.; her sisters, Pat Bramlett and MarthaFauver, both of Brookhaven; 11 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and numerousnieces and nephews.
Mary Lee Chandler
Services for Mary Lee Chandler, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. today,Jan. 20 at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.
Visitation is today from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at RiverwoodFamily Funeral Service.
Mrs. Chandler, 62, died Jan. 18, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn on Sept. 5, 1943, to L.J. Walker and Dovie May Walker.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her father; her grandchild, WalkerChandler; and a niece, Rebecca Walker.
Survivors are her mother, Dovie May Walker, of Natchez; herhusband, Billy Ray Chandler Sr., of Brookhaven; her sons, Billy RayChandler Jr., Michael Dewayne Chandler and Alton Lee Chandler, allof Brookhaven; her daughters, Charlotte Dianne Simmons and herhusband, Obie, of Denham Springs, La., and Kim Chandler Edgertonand her husband, Christopher, of Spokane, Wash.; her brother, LarryWalker and his wife, Judy, of Natchez; her sister, Rebecca Henryand her husband, Neil, of Natchez; 15 grandchildren; twostepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
