Services for Josie Delle Arterbury Denison, of Monticello, were11 a.m. today, Jan. 23 at Monticello Baptist Church with burial inMonticello Municipal Cemetery. The Rev. Jon Daniels will officiateservices. Charlotte Ready is in charge of music.

Mrs. Denison, 85, died Jan. 20, 2006, at River Region MedicalCenter in Vicksburg. She was born on Sept. 27, 1920, to TheodoreJames Arterbury and Ethel Lee Holly Arterbury.

She was a retired teacher, shop owner and florist. She was amember of Monticello Baptist Church. She was a lifetime teacherlicensed for kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HaroldLincoln Denison; and one sister.

Survivors are her son, Victor “Bubba” Dean Denison, of Memphis;her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Dickson, of Monticello; her sister,Willie Jane Vickery, of Greenwood; four grandchildren; and sevengreat-grandchildren.

Parllbearers were Butch Boyd, Doug Brister, Wayne Harrison,Jackie Magee, Sidney King, Albert Turnage and Danny Holmes.
