Services for Dorothy Irene Cannon, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.today, Jan. 27 at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Mt. ZionChurch of Christ Cemetery.

Mrs. Cannon, 60, died Jan. 25, 2006, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 15, 1945, to Homer Lairdand Winnie Hill Laird.

She was employed with Keystone Screen Wire Co. and was disabled.She attended Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her father; and her husband, JoeCannon Jr.

Survivors are her mother; her sons, Joe Wayne Cannon, and DanielL. Cannon and his wife, Dusti, all of Bogue Chitto; her daughter,Christa Mitchell, of Bogue Chitto; her brother, Howard Laird, ofHelena, Ala.; her sister, Ruth Talley, of Bogue Chitto; hergrandchildren, Courtney and Iris Mitchell, Dorothy Cannon and JamesCody Cannon; and one stepgrandchild, Kristopher Herring.
