Services for Barbara Ann Gartman, of Pricedale, are 11 a.m.Friday, Feb. 3 at Calvary Baptist Church in Pricedale with burialin the church cemetery. Catchings Funeral Home in McComb is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Gartman, 63, died Jan. 30, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn in Jackson on July 3, 1942, to Willie Luther Stubbs and VelmaBates Brooks.

She was a retired legal secretary having worked for JohnsonControl, the contract company for NASA. She was a member of CalvaryBaptist Church, where her husband, the late Harold Gartman,pastored for 19 years before his death in November 2005. She was amember of the Women’s Missionary Union and the Ladies Sunday Schoolclass.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her stepfather, KennethBrooks; her husband, the Rev. Harold Gartman; and one brother,Thomas “Sonny” Stubbs.

Survivors are her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kenneth andKellie Gartman, of Starkville, and Gene Gartman, of Suffolk, Va.;one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Bruce Lozier, of McComb;one brother, Garland “Bud” Bowen, of Eupora; two grandchildren,Bonnie and Kandi Spangler, both of McComb; one brother-in-law, RayGordon Gartman Jr., of Schulenburg, Texas; one sister-in-law, DonnaBellman and her husband, Deric, of Des Moines, Iowa; one niece,Renee’ Kehtel and her husband, David, and their daughter, Crystal,of Ridgeland; and numerous friends and church family.

Pallbearers will be deacons of the church.
