Services for Jack Dempsey Cox, of Monticello, are 3 p.m. today,Feb. 12 at Carmel Baptist Church in Monticello with burial in thechurch cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is today from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Cox, 84, died Feb. 10, 2006, at Lawrence County Hospital. Hewas born on April 24, 1921, to Henry Cox and Nannie Wilson Cox.

He was retired from TWA Airlines in Kansas City, Mo. He was amember of Carmel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Air Forceduring World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Ila Jane Cox, of Monticello; his sonAdam Cox, of Enterprise; his daughter, Lana C. Ramsey, of Virginia;and his sisters, Gloria Kiern, of Metairie, La., and PaulineLambert, of Texas.
