Mack Mitchell

Services for Mack Mitchell, of Jayess, are 11 a.m. Thursday,Feb. 16 at Tilton United Methodist Church in Monticello with burialin Roberts Memorial Cemetery in Topeka.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home inMonticello.

Mr. Mitchell, 61, died Feb. 13, 2006, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born on July 24, 1944, to RoyMitchell and Lexie Hemphill Mitchell.

He was the retired owner of Mitchell Roofing Co. He was a memberof Tilton United Methodist Church. He was a charter member of theLawrence County Fantasy Football League, an avid supporter ofLawrence County sports and Copiah Academy sports.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Karen Mitchell, of Jayess; his sons,Mitch Mitchell and his wife, Diane, of Gallman, Jeff Mitchell andhis wife, Robin, of Monticello; his brother, Mike Mitchell, ofJayess; his sister, Fahrandal Forsyth, of Warren, R.I.; hisgranddaughters, Brooke Nelson, Alexis Mitchell, Shelby Mitchell andCamryn Mitchell; his great-grandson, Taylor Daughdrill; and oneniece, Kim Forsyth.
