The Copiah Academy Colonel golf team beat out 10 other teams tocaptured the Brookhaven Academy Tournament Monday afternoon at theBrookhaven Country Club. The Colonels finished a team score of307.

Brookhaven took second place with 326 followed by PresbyterianChristian 327, Trinity Episcopal 331, Columbia 335, UniversityChristian 347, Parklane (Blue) 366, Simpson 380, Parklane (Red)387, Bowling Green 388.

Adam Doleac of Presbyterian Christian was the match medalist,shooting 70.

Copiah’s scoring included Jake Smith 73, Clay Price 74, StephenBozeman 75, Jered Smith 85, Billy Henley 97 and Timothy Hallman109.

The order of finish for Brookhaven was Jennings Mills 77, HunterWilson 80, Shea Smith 82, Daniel Lofton 87, Jerrod Rayborn 97 andJason Snider 97.
