William Frank ‘Bill’ Adams

Services for William Frank “Bill” Adams of Brookhaven, are 1p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Adams, 57, died April 22, 2006, at Countrybrook LivingCenter in Brookhaven. He was born in Pike County on Feb. 28, 1949,to J.Q. Adams and Bernice Wallace Adams.

He was disabled. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his father and his brother, LamarAdams.

Survivors are his mother, Bernice Wallace Adams, of BogueChitto; his brothers, Ronnie Adams and Julian Earl Adams, both ofBogue Chitto; several nieces and nephews and several great-niecesand nephews and other family members and friends.

Olivia Chaney Rhodes

Services for Olivia Chaney Rhodes, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, April 25, at First Baptist Church in Brookhaven withburial in Easthaven Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at First BaptistChurch.

Mrs. Rhodes, 81, died April 23, 2006, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Newton County on June 14, 1924, toIrvin Chaney and Ethel Graham Chaney.

She was a retired school teacher. She was a member of theRetired Teachers Association and Mississippi Public EmployeesRetirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was amember of LLL and pianist for Dept. 5.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Cecil Rhodes, of Brookhaven; her son,Byron Rhodes, of Gulfport; her daughter, Sheila Turnage, ofColumbia; her brother, John Chaney, of Kosciusko; her sister, IreneTurner, of Union; her grandchild, Matthew Turnage, of Madison,Terri Irons and husband Ty, of Deatsville, Ala., and Marc Turnerand wife Lora, of Hattiesburg; and her great-grandchildren, DrewIrons, of Deatsville.
