Services for Zeldra Cupit Smith Wallace, of Brookhaven, were 2p.m. Sunday, June 18, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Mrs. Wallace, 93, died June 16, 2006, at Silver Cross Home inBrookhaven. She was born in Jefferson County on May 18, 1913, toBertie Cupit and Esther Ferguson Cupit.

She was retired from Stahl-Urban Manufacturing Company. She wasa member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, AubreySmith and Zack Wallace; her son, Robert Lee Smith; and herbrothers, Mack Cupit, Bert Cupit, J.W. Cupit, Marshall Cupit,Willard Cupit, Elmer Cupit, Homer Cupit, and Richard Alton “SonnieBoy” Cupit.

Survivors are her sons, Harold Smith and wife Carolyn, of McCallCreek, and Dennis Smith and wife Connie, of Dayton, Texas; herdaughters, Faye Watts and husband Raymond, Billie Amic, and MargieBoyles and husband Dale, all of Brookhaven; her sister, PaulineKirby, of Ridgeland; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; andthree great-great-grandchildren.
