Services for Geneva Channell Hollingsworth, of Brookhaven, are11 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hollingsworth, 86, died June 26, 2006, at her residence.She was born on June 1, 1920, to Daniel Bennie Channell and EulaWatson Channell.

She was retired from her job as an office worker withStahl-Urban Manufacturing Company. She was a member of FaithPresbyterian Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John W.Hollingsworth; and her brother, Daniel Bennie Channell Jr.

Survivors are her sons, Jerry Hollingsworth, of Tupelo, and MarkHollingsworth, of McComb; her daughters, Brenda George, ofBrookhaven, and Corinne Gillentine, of Hattiesburg; her brother,Howard Channell, of Tulsa, Okla.; her sisters, Lillian Zullo, ofJacksonville, N.C., and Earline Mayeaux, of New Orleans, La.; hereight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services for James Dorman May, of Smithdale, are 10 a.m.Wednesday, June 28, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Franklin Countywith burial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery in Summit. JonesFamily Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church, and onWednesday from 9 until 10 a.m.

Mr. May, 65, died June 26, 2006, at Beacham Memorial Hospital inMagnolia. He was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 28, 1940, to EdwinHilton May and Gladie Marie Adams May.

He was a 1959 graduate of Johnston Station School. He co-ownedand operated May’s Pest Control with his father, Hilton. He was alongtime member and deacon of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was awonderful husband and a devoted father and grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his father and his infant daughter,Debra Jean May.

Survivors are his mother, Gladie Marie Adams May, of Smithdale;his wife, Peggy Jean Wallace May, of Smithdale; his sons anddaughters-in-law, Jim and Amy May, of Smithdale, and Ed and SophiaMay, of McComb; his sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jo and WileyGreer, of McComb; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Andrew May,Summer Noel May, Justin Robert May and Austin James May.
