Inece Maxwell

Services for Inece Maxwell, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Thursday,July 13, at Hopewell M.B. Church in Brookhaven with burial in thechurch cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Maxwell, 67, died July 9, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn on June 15, 1939, to Jim Harvey and Emma Lou Tillman.

She was retired. She was a member of Hopewell M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sons, Jerry Maxwelland Lonnie Maxwell; and her brother, John David Tillman.

Survivors are her daughter, Gloria Harris, of Brookhaven; hersisters, Josephine Johnson, of Greenville, Blanche Sanders, ofMagee, Mary A. Lyons, of Brookhaven, and Ollie Bell Parish, ofPortland, Ore.; her brother, Robert Earl Tillman, of Brookhaven;her two grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.

Mary Alice Smith Weeks

Services for Mary Alice Smith Weeks, of Wesson, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, July 12, at Beauregard Methodist Church in Wesson withburial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is today from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Weeks, 99, died July 10, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn on Nov. 10, 1906, to Oscar Smith and Miriam Smith Smith.

She attended the University of Southern Mississippi. She was adietitian and manager for the Wesson School Cafeteria for a numberof years. She was a member of Beauregard Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, LouisJackson Weeks; and her son, Lewis Jackson Weeks Jr.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and NancyWeeks, of Wesson, Howard and Sarah Weeks, of Hazlehurst, and Johnnyand Karen Weeks, of Terry; her daughters and sons-in-law, Elma andWoodrow Purser, of Crystal Springs, and Agnes and Buck Ratliff, ofWesson; her sisters, Georgia Smith, of Brookhaven, Velma Carraway,of Fayetteville, Ark., and Marjorie Smith, of Wesson; hergrandchildren, Debbie Donahoe, Lance Purser, Woody Berry, GinaClark, Elizabeth Stovall, Jackie Walsh, Anita May, TheresiaPerkins, Brenda Hall, Ronnie Weeks, Beth Weeks, Albert Weeks, MikePitts and Michele Carter; a host of great-grandchildren and onegreat-great-grandchild.
