Benny Charles ‘Pepper’ Walker

Services for Benny Charles “Pepper” Walker, of Wesson, are 11a.m. Saturday, July 22, at Zion Hill Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurstis in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Walker, 65, died July 12, 2006, at his residence.
He was a retired NC programmer and had served six years in theMississippi National Guard. He was a member of JM Wesson MasonicLodge, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, and a Wahabi Shriner. He wasa member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Eddie and Mary EulaFarrar Walker; and his brothers, Buddy Walker, Bill Walker and GeneWalker.
Survivors are his wife of 43 years, Madeline Jones Walker; hisdaughters, Rachel Selman, of Wesson, and Becky Knight, ofGeorgetown; his brothers, Jimmy Walker, Ken Walker, Don Walker andRay Walker, all of Wesson; his sisters, Louise Rempert, ofWisconsin, Hellon Beall, of Wesson, Sue Wilson, of Laurel, andDolly Entrican, of Ocean Springs; and his five grandchildren.
