Services for Frances Ann Reeves Baker, of Brookhaven, were 11a.m. today, July 24, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Baker, 75, died July 21, 2006, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center. She was born on Jan. 4, 1931, to Luther AndrewReeves and Rhoda Ann Brown Reeves Buie.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church.Mrs. Baker’s childhood was spent in the Arlington community inLincoln County. She played basketball for Copiah-Lincoln CommunityCollege. She taught secretarial education at Siloam High School.She enjoyed traveling with her husband and close friends. Shecontinued lifelong relations with her many friends. Her life’s joyand fulfillment were her endless love and dedication for her familyas a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors are her husband, Dr. Brandt LaRue Baker Sr.; her sons,LaRue Baker and his wife, Sue, of Brookhaven, and Mac L. Baker andhis wife Amy, of Brookhaven; his daughter, Ann Baker Sparks and herhusband, Darryl, of Memphis, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Brandi BakerDay and her husband, Ryan, Brandon Baker and Jake Baker; hergreat-grandchildren, Brantley Day, Roland Day, and Laren Day; andher lifelong friend and housekeeper, Sadie Mae Dickey.
