Services for Richard Rogers, of Silver Creek, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, July 25, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello withburial in Old Silver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Rogers, 60, died July 23, 2006, at Hospice Ministries,Ridgeland. He was born on May 18, 1946, to Cary J. Rogers and MaxieHathorn Rogers.

He was a railroad conductor with Illinois Central Railroad. Hewas a member of Arm Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Shirley Gray Rogers, of Silver Creek;his daughters, Shannon Werneth and her husband Jeff, of OceanSprings, and Kelly Mullins and her husband Jerry, of New Hebron;his sister, Cary Acy, of Corpus Christie, Texas; and his fourgrandchildren.
