Services for Henry D. Stockton Jr., of McComb, are 11 a.m.Monday, July 31, at Catchings Funeral Home with burial in HollywoodCemetery.

Visitation is today from 2 until 6 p.m. and Monday from 10 until11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Stockton, 73, died July 29, 2006, at his home. He was bornin Pike County on June 26, 1933, to Henry D. Stockton Sr. andVannie Belle Johnston Stockton.

He was a retired general clerk with the U.S. Postal Service. Hewas a member of Johnston Station Baptist Church. He was a member ofMcComb City Lodge No. 382 F&AM. He was also a veteran of theU.S. Army during the Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his sisters, AlineStockton, Norma Cobb and Eunice Ratcliff.

Survivors are his wife, Hilda Lou “Tootsie” Howell Stockton, ofMcComb; his son, Brian Stockton and his wife, Carleen, of Summit;his sister, Bessie Stockton Reeves and her husband, John H., ofSummit; his brother-in-law, Kenneth Lee Howell, and his wife, KathyMarie, of Mandeville; his sister-in-law, Nell Marie Price, ofMcComb; two granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
