Services for William B. Easley, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m.Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inDamascus Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County.

Visitation is today from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Easley, 91, died Aug. 14, 2006, at his residence. He wasborn in McComb on Nov. 11, 1914, to Levi Cade Easley and ElizabethSmith.

At age 19 he joined the Civilian Conservation Corps during theDepression. He worked with Convier Aircraft in San Diego duringWorld War II. He retired from Kaisar Aluminum in New Orleans, La.He was a part-time farmer and sawmill operator. He a member of theBaptist faith and a 32nd degree Mason.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, RobertEasley, Luther Easley and Cade Easley; and his sisters, Eva LeeEasley, Neva O. Lackey and Prudence Xedos.

Survivors are his sisters, Marie Britt and Annie M. Laird, bothof Brookhaven, and Hettie Creech, of Monterey, La.; and a host ofnieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Danny Tisdale, Jimmy Garner, Roger Easley,Ronnie Xedos, Douglas Easley and Dennis Britt.

Honorary pallbearers are Shayn Keeton, James Keeton, JerryKeeton and Michael Smith.
