Services for Leland Travis Allbritton, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is today from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mr. Allbritton, 82, died Sept. 5, 2006, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital. He was born on Aug. 18, 1924, to Elam Allbrittonand Ollie Mae Powell Allbritton.

He was retired from Seale-Lily Ice Cream. He served in the U.S.Army during World War II. He was a member of Easthaven BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents, three sisters and fourbrothers.

Survivors are his wife, Celeste Nance Allbritton; his sons, JosephL. Allbritton, of Brookhaven, and James Richard Allbritton, ofJackson; his brothers, Carlie Allbritton, of Braxton; his fivegrandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
