BOGUE CHITTO — The Bogue Chitto Lady ‘Cats took no prisonersMonday as they hammered Dexter’s Lady Bulldogs 15-0. The Class 1Adivision game only went 3 innings.

LaToya Braxton (11-1) pitched the victory. She fanned 2 battersand walked 1 as the Lady ‘Cats hiked their record to 13-1 overalland 5-0 in the division.

“We hit the ball hard tonight,” said Bogue Chitto coach ScottLeggett. His division-leading team hosts rival Enterprise Thursday,starting at 5 p.m. with the junior varsity game. The varsity startsat 6.

Against Dexter, the ‘Cats finished with 12 hits, led by Braxtonwho homered and singled. Shaquille Burton also homered. Devin Welchand Dori Hall collected 2 hits apiece.

Josie Porter, Blaine Myers, Kim Thomas, Darci Miller and KelliHoward also singled for BC. The ‘Cats scored 7, first-inning runsand plated 8 more in the second.

Dexter, limited to a pair of hits, got singles from AshleyBlackwell and Brittany Mack.

Amanda Cotton (1 K, 1 BB) was the losing pitcher. Her teamcommitted 6 errors.
