Preston ‘Fuzzy’ Lee Veal

Services for Preston “Fuzzy” Lee Veal, of Crosby, were 11 a.m.Thursday, Nov. 2, at Gloster First Baptist Church with burial inWoodlawn Cemetery in Gloster. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Veal, 65, died Oct. 24, 2006, at his residence. He was bornin Crosby on Nov. 29, 1940, to John Veal and Hazel NettervilleVeal.

Preceding him in death were his son, Tommy Lee Jackson; and hissister, Hazel Veal Nelson.

Survivors are his loving wife, Mary Ella Veal; his parents Johnand Hazel Veal; his daughters, Benitta Wesco, of Crosby, BridgetteBell, of Gloster, Vallerie Wesco, of Berkeley, Calif., Stacy Hurst,of Baton Rouge, La., and Zola Veal, of Picayune; his son, EddieVeal, of Woodville; his sisters, Alma Johnson, Rosetta Scott,Florence Bateaste, Shirley Hall, Patricia Rogers, Nora Roe andSelena Mason; his brothers, David Franklin, Willie Veal and JohnVeal; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relativesand friends.
