Services for Berry Farmer Bridges, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Pearlhaven Baptist Church with burial inMission Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family FuneralService is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home andon Tuesday from noon until the time of the service at thechurch.
Mr. Bridges, 91, died Nov. 4, 2006, at his residence. He wasborn on Aug. 10, 1915, to John Ephrin Bridges and Maggie TaylorBridges.
He was retired from Stahl-Urban Manufacturing Co. He was amember of Pearlhaven Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Mary MaudeMullins Bridges; his sister, Georgia Bridges; his brother, J.D.Bridges; his sons-in-law, James “Poz” Hux and James DeHon WallaceJr.; and his great-grandchild, Zachary River Norris.
Survivors are his sons, Charlie Berry Bridges and John LutherBridges, both of Brookhaven; his daughters, Betty Ruth Womack andhusband Kary, of Topeka, and Barbara Ann Hux, of Brookhaven; his 14grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and threegreat-great-grandchildren.
