Services for Virginia Mae Blair, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m.Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Community Funeral Services with burial inFriendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is today from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Blair, 72, died Nov. 10, 2006, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Paducah, Ky., onMarch 27, 1934, to Johnnie Bell Diels.

She attended North Jackson Street United Methodist Church andloved her church family. They were very dedicated in visiting herand taking care of her needs during her stay at McComb Nursing andRehabilitation Center.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Wilbur Lee Blair.

Survivors are her stepdaughters and their husbands, Rosie andFrank Mercier, of Brookhaven, Alice and Roy Allen, of Tomball,Texas, Sharon and Mack Lambert, of Brookhaven, and Donna and RobertCupit, of Bogue Chitto; her 17 stepgrandchildren, 30great-stepgrandchildren and one great-great-stepgrandchild; and avery special friend and neighbor, Ann “Beet” Lambert.
